When I heard Antonio Tarver say it
was his duty to show people what he was made of, I could
relate to that. I was asked today why I bother with
a web site all about gratitude, my round-about answer
said the same thing.
I believe each of us have been given
talents and gifts that - when used - benefit not only
the people we love, not only ourselves, but everyone.
The challenge to each of us is to
first know what we're made of, and
then show others.
So in this season of giving thanks,
what is it you've got to show? We all have something.
A patient ear? An understanding heart? A warm smile?
A killer pumpkin pie? Let it out, let it loose, let
it be - and be thankful for it.
This week I will ask
myself
what am I made of, and am I living up to my duty?
